Spread the Cost With Patient Finance

Private treatment is an investment and we never want cost to be the reason someone puts off care they need. Through Medenta we offer interest-free and low-cost finance options that let you spread the cost of treatment into manageable monthly payments.

  • Interest-free and low-cost loan options available
  • Fixed monthly payments by direct debit
  • Payments that never change once agreed
  • Straightforward application — no early repayment penalty
  • Available for most private treatments including implants, Invisalign and cosmetic dentistry

Your dentist will explain all available finance options at your consultation. There is no obligation and no pressure to apply.

How Private Treatment Works at Newkirkgate

  1. 1
Step 1 — Book an Examination
Every private patient starts with a thorough examination. For new patients this is £62 and includes a full assessment of your teeth, gums, jaw and bite, X-rays where appropriate, and oral cancer screening.
  2. 2
Step 2 — Receive Your Treatment Plan
Your dentist will talk you through everything they find in plain language. If treatment is recommended you'll receive a written treatment plan with confirmed fees before anything is agreed. There is no obligation to proceed.
  3. 3
Step 3 — Agree and Book
Once you're happy with the plan and the costs, your treatment is booked at a time that suits you. If you'd like to use finance, the application is done before treatment begins.
  4. 4
    Step 4 — Treatment Begins
Your dentist carries out your treatment to the agreed plan. Costs are confirmed throughout and nothing changes without your knowledge and agreement.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions About Private Dental Fees

A new private patient examination costs £62. This includes a 20-minute appointment, a full assessment of your teeth, gums, jaw and bite, X-rays where appropriate, oral cancer screening, and a written treatment plan. There is no obligation to proceed with any further treatment after your examination.

Yes, always. We provide every private patient with a written treatment plan including confirmed fees before any treatment begins. Nothing happens until you have seen the full cost, understood what is involved and agreed to proceed.

Yes. You can be registered as an NHS patient and still choose to have certain treatments carried out privately where a private option is available, for example a white ceramic crown instead of an NHS metal crown. Your dentist will always explain both options and the cost difference clearly so you can make the decision that is right for you.

NHS treatment covers everything your teeth need to be healthy. Private treatment gives you access to a wider range of materials and options, for example tooth-coloured restorations where the NHS may provide a metal alternative, or cosmetic treatments that are not available on the NHS at all. Whether private treatment is worth it depends entirely on what you want to achieve. Your dentist will always be honest about whether a private option offers a meaningful benefit in your specific case.

We will always tell you before any additional cost is incurred. If the scope of your treatment changes for any clinical reason, your dentist will discuss this with you and confirm the revised fee in writing before proceeding. You are never charged for something you haven't agreed to.
